Intelliport uses IoTerop’s IOWA software development kit to offer LwM2M interoperability in its full product portfolio
Beginning with their IPS-231 LTE WIFI Router Pro, Intelliport will soon add LwM2M technology to all of its products and services, further enabling standardized remote device management in Europe
Budapest, Hungary – 15 February, 2022 – Intelliport, a professional mobile communication solutions and enterprise application development provider, has partnered with IoTerop, a leading IoT device management software company to create interoperable devices and services in line with Lightweight Machine to Machine (LwM2M) standards. Beginning with their IPS-231 LTE WIFI Router Pro, Intelliport will soon offer LwM2M capabilities in all of its products.
“As a leading communications solutions company that serves multiple utilities and industrial markets, we understand how important interoperability is for our clients,” said Peter Batorfi, Managing Director at Intelliport. “We are fiercely proud of our EU designed and manufactured products, and choosing IoTerop’s IOWA allowed us to maintain full visibility into them. We were able to add interoperability without compromising our ability to fully support our products.”
“IoTerop is proud to support Intelliport in its endeavors to lay the groundwork for interoperability,” commented Hatem Oueslati, CEO of IoTerop. “Interoperability is an essential part of ensuring that IoT devices are relevant decades from now, as proprietary networks make it difficult to manage fleets of multiple types of devices. We are very pleased to be a part of the greater establishment of LwM2M-enabled products in the EU.”
In addition to the IPS-231 LTE WIFI Router Pro, Intelliport plans to have LwM2M capabilities in its full portfolio of industrial mobile routers, as well as its electricity, gas, and water meter gateway products progressively by the end of 2023.
